Help... Coming Soon

Comments

Get excited, get very very excited! We recognize that many young people are struggling with pornography but don't know where to go for help. We know from the hundreds of emails that we've received that many can't afford other programs and don't yet dare talk to anybody about it. Well, we are excited to announce that we are currently in the process of developing a FREE online program for teens struggling with pornography. We're calling it FORTIFY: A Step Towards Recovery. Pretty cool, eh? This revolutionary program will not only give professional education but also tools and resources.

People always ask us, "So, what are the effects of pornography." It's true that pornography doesn't share the same effects on the body as does heroin or cocaine and therefore, it's more difficult to pinpoint what those effects really are. Although there are actual physical effects to the brain they are not noticeable to the eye like the effects of cigarettes (smell, yellow teeth, etc.). We wish Joyce our greatest su...

ABC 4 talks about FTND

Comments

The other day we were emailed by ABC 4 asking us if they could get a quick interview. Even though we weren't exactly sure what it was for we said sure. I mean, who doesn't want to be on TV, right? We had no idea that they had been working on a story about our assemblies. They had interviewed a couple of parents that had attended our presentation. We didn't find that out until we saw it on the 5 o'clock news. Ever since this aired we've had a spike in interest for our assemblies. This week alone we've booked over 1 assembly per day. Things are growing! ]]...

MAKING THE PAPER IN DESERET NEWS

Comments

Middle school students weren’t the only ones who attended the recent assembly performed by Fight the New Drug at South Hills Middle school on October 26, 2011. The Riverton School was holding their annual Red Ribbon Week and FTND was invited to present on the harmful and potentially addictive effects of pornography in a school wide assembly. Most of the events held during Red Ribbon Week did not attract that of media reporters but a topic as controversial as Pornography was definitely news worthy in the eyes of the Deseret News.

Supporters of Fight the New Dru...
