First time in Gunnison Valley and we have to admit... It's a pretty cool place. We got there the night before the school assemblies just in time to talk to the parents in the community. The message was extremely well received.
That night we ate some chinese from the only chinese restaurant in town (which was extremely good) and spent the night in a Bed and Breakfast.
The next morning we had a blast talking to the students at both Gunnison Valley High School as well as the middle school. What great schools with awesome students! One of the coolest things about this experience was that it was one of the students that got Fight the New Drug to come to his school.
This is just the beginning. Pretty soon this program will be going around to schools all over the nation and educating youth on the harmful potential of pornography. It's not an easy battle but it is one that must be fought.
Thanks GUNNISON VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL! Hopefully we'll come visit again sometime.
