We’re not going to beat around the bush on this one; being interviewed and broadcasted on the radio is pretty sweet. Local, Independent, Alternative. These are the words that x96 uses to describe their station. We like these descriptions, because they are the same words you might use to describe teens in your community.
Recently we had the opportunity to meet Bill Allred, the host of Radio from Hell. Bill is
known for his controversial approach to hot topics. The man is not afraid of confrontation and is perfectly okay with you disagreeing with what he has to say (it’s likely he doesn’t agree with you either). We sat down with Bill and prepared to be bombarded with arguments and accusations about Fight the New Drug’s campaign. The show’s title alone was enough to make us wonder just how hot the water was that we were about to submerse ourselves into.
The interview began and we waited for the attack. And we waited, and waited. It never came. Bill Allred approached our interview as an education listener and we provided him with our educational message. He was not afraid to ask questions or joke, because that’s who Bill is.
