To viewers, pornography can appear a fantasy world of pleasure and thrills. To those who create and participate in making pornography, however, their experiences are often flooded with drugs, disease, rape and abuse. It’s not easy to know all the gritty details until someone with personal experience in the industry takes a step forward because the industry purposefully keeps it as secretive as possible. Here are some statements made by former porn stars.

We love heading down south:) We just returned from our second school assembly tour in the Lafayette area and had a BLAST! After hitting up nearly 3 schools per day for a solid week we returned extremely exhausted and incredibly motivated by the phenomenal response by all the folks we spoke to:)We had thousands of teenagers get excited about the movement and sign our Fighter Pledge (as you can see from the images below).

Our campaign finally hit the "big times!" You know you're on the right path when a respected national news organization like ABC NIGHTLINE decides to feature your campaign to over 4 million viewers. Just a couple of months ago they sent a film crew out here to film one of our assemblies and interview us about our campaign. They even decided to feature one of our Fighters about his story! After this aired we were bombarded with emails and phone calls wanting to find out more about us and several requests to have us come out to their schools. Check it out:

When a smoker purchases a pack of cigarettes, it comes with a surgeon’s general warning on the pack to warn the smoker of potential consequences of tobacco use. Any supplier of an addictive product that has harmful effects to the consumer should be required to follow this protocol. Unfortunately, the world is not so. Pornographers don't put disclaimers beneath their videos that say, "Women often reject men that view pornography," "pornography causes less satisfaction in real sexual experiences," or "avid porn users can actually lose interest in  real life intimate relationships," (Zillmann & Bryant, 1988).  ...
